MOU
NEBO TV received an MOU for a collaborative program with the Department of Linguistics Studies at the University of Benin on November 11th, 2021!
Our Objectives
NEBO TV is pleased to accept your offer of a collaborative program with the Department of Linguistics Studies at the University of Benin. We earnestly appreciate your effort toward vitalizing the Edo language, through NEBO TV’s platform in the diaspora. As part of our collaborative missions to preserve and harmonize the Edo language, NEBO TV would be featuring different programs from the department every month. Assigned lecturer(s) from the department would be facilitating workshops on how to write and speak the Edo language effectively. Any educational material from the department, such as articles, pre-recorded videos, and pictures would be disseminated on NEBO TV’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and more). If applicable!
All workshops would be conducted virtually via Zoom and BeLive once a month – every last Saturday of the month (4 pm – 6 pm Nigerian time – 2 hours) for the length of 12 months (one year). The first workshop is scheduled to commence this month, January 2022.
Thank you for the opportunity and confidence expressed in me towards making significant contributions to the development of the Edo cultural heritage. I am looking forward to working collaboratively with the department to enhance Edo language and culture. More activities are to be added in the near future. The official document is attached below!
